Grace and Mike’s wedding at Historic Ashland in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania was nothing short of magical. Nestled in southern Pennsylvania, Historic Ashland is the perfect upscale barn wedding venue for couples from New York, Maryland, New Jersey, and locally as well.
Desert Rose Wedding Details
Grace and Mike's details were not only classic and elegant, but their main wedding color, desert rose, was on full display. The florals, and bridal party attire showcased these colors so beautifully.
Getting Ready at the Mansion at Historic Ashland
The morning began with excitement as Grace and her bridal party got ready in the beautiful mansion at Historic Ashland. Grace’s eye for classic details was on full display, from her elegant lace gown to her tousled bridal hair, that I am obsessed with, I couldn’t get enough of her bridal look and desert rose wedding details. Just the perfect combination of classic and beautiful.

A Historic Ashland First Look
Before the ceremony, Grace and Mike chose to do a first look. I love when couples plan for some private moments to themselves on their wedding day. Your wedding day goes by so quickly that it is hard to find time to take in all that is going around you and be present with each other. Grace’s laugh and Mike’s obvious admiration for his bride were so evident in each photo. The two were completely in the moment and you can tell in their portraits. A quick summer storm rolled in during their portraits so we had to get creative and use the porches and inside of the mansion for some fun editorial wedding images.
Fun Bridal Party Poses
We had so much fun with their bridal party creating lots of fun memories while capturing their images. These are full of laughter, love, and so many smiles.
A Historic Ashland Wedding Ceremony Under the Trees
They chose to get married under the trees and their ceremony was full of fun moments of laughter, several stolen kisses, and excitement as they were pronouced Mr. and Mrs. We captured a few more officially married portraits after they said "I Do" too and they are some of my favorites.
Upscale Barn Wedding Reception at Historic Ashland
During the reception, Grace and Mike shared their first dance, there were heartfelt speeches, and guests danced the night away. They chose to do a private cake cutting and stole away for some nighttime portraits outside on the patio as well.
As the evening turned into night, the celebration continued with a cozy and fun late-night treat: a pizza bar! After celebrating all night with their guests they chose to do one last private dance together in the barn while the staff at Historic Ashland cleaned up around them. They didn't seem to notice and were just in their own little "Just Married" bubble.
Grace and Mike’s wedding at Historic Ashland was full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. From their heartfelt first look to their private last dance, every detail felt authentically them. Spending the day with this couple and their loved ones was a true privilege, and I’m so grateful to have captured such a beautiful celebration of their love.
