As noted earlier, the venue was none other than Abbi's childhood home. Her parents transformed a barn into their home so Abbi was able to get herself ready in her childhood bedroom, and a large tent was set up out back for their backyard reception. Abbi stepped into her dress with her mom and best friends surrounding her. It was so special for her to get ready in her childhood bedroom for the last time as a single woman. Ben got ready in a small building nearby and was so excited to see Abbi for the first time.

There's no better feeling than being surrounded by the people you love the most, and that's exactly what Abbi and Ben had. Abbi's bridesmaid wore stunning dark forest green dresses. The girls carried gorgeous bouquets made of ferns and greenery with no florals! The groom and groomsmen wore dark brown suits. I just love when nature is incorporated so beautifully and we had such a great time capturing these wedding party photos.
Backyard Wedding Ceremony
Abbi's childhood home was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. They set up a beautiful bohemian macrame arch, and white folding chairs for their guests to sit in. Abbi entered from the side instead of walking down the aisle and it was a sweet moment when Ben saw her for the first time. Their ceremony was full of God-honoring moments and it was beautiful to witness.

My favorite part of a wedding day is capturing the first official portraits of the Mr. & Mrs. These two just love each other so much and it translates in the way they treat each other with gentleness and kindness.
